Grand Canyon/Lipan Point Wedding!

Tarah and Bill had a few ideas for the location of their destination wedding. Tarah spoke about the location and they decided this was the place they wanted to exchange vows. We arrived in Phoenix the day before the wedding and drove approx 3 hours to get to our hotel. It was full of amazing scenery throughout the whole drive. We stopped over on the Famous RT 66. It was amazing to see the history.
As soon as we woke up in the morning we headed over to a lookout to see the one and only breathtaking canyon. It was beautiful but so scary especially if you are scared of heights. But these 2 love birds had no fear.

The wedding was to take place at sunset on Lipan Point . We arrived approx. 600pm. The drive up there was white knuckles all the way and I was in the back seat holding on to the headrest. We got out of the car and the weather was a perfect 85 degrees with just enough of a breeze to be as comfortable as you would ever imagine overlooking one of the most breathtaking views I have ever seen.

Their ceremony was perfect and intimate just as they had dreamed of. Can you imagine looking out over one of the most magnificent places in the world while marrying your best friend and soul mate!! It was beyond amazing!!

They had the perfect invite with unique calligraphy and a watercolor design of the canyon: compliments of Blu3 Designs and the perfect petite cake: compliments of Jacqueline Rose Cakery.

They had a package photographer as well as I and we hit it off so well. She was one of the kindest people. She went with the flow and was open to any suggestions that the couple/family or even I had in mind. After the ceremony Tarah and Bill headed to the boulder of all boulders for once in a lifetime photos. I was literally shaking as they ventured out and literally almost peed my pants. I am not kidding. Really!! Not kidding!! Thank goodness for Tanee the other photographer for her calm demeanor. It really helped ease my anxiety.

Don’t be afraid to go to great heights on your wedding day! Ok maybe not this great of a height but what I am saying is: It is your day! Make it about you! Where you dream about! It will be perfect as long as it is always about the two of you! Oh and you can definitely take me along to capture it all 😉
