Indianapolis April Fools Wedding!

First wedding of 2017 just so happen to be on April fools day. This couple chose this day for their wedding and although there were jokes to be had, it was one amazing day!

They chose the most perfect, full of natural light location for getting ready. “hint hint to you future brides” The natural light makes for beautiful images.

The bride and groom chose to do a first look which gave them time to take the day in. Since the day goes so fast , this gives the bride and groom time to talk about their day and let their emotions flow all while letting us get some great images for their lifelong journey book.

The weather was perfect as can be for an early April wedding. Their color palate was fitting for the spring sunshine on this day. The city circle was full of people out enjoying one of the first beautiful days of the year!

It was so funny that just over a year ago we shot the MOH wedding. I was so thrilled to see her again and she continued to rave about how she loved Cassie and I as a team for their wedding. And now honored to shoot her best friends wedding as well.

I choose to second shoot the majority of weddings because I am a full time nurse. So second shooting is my way of doing what I love while keeping a balance in my life. I do take on a few weddings per year but limit it so I still have time to spend with family and friends.

I am so honored to again be second shooting alongside my friend and partner in crime “Cassie” we have so much fun together. We tend to take crazy photos of each other throughout the day as well which you will see at the end of this blog. LOL
